Not all good things must come to an end but long weekends unfortunately fall into the opposite category =/. Labor Day weekend was absolutely great and I hope everyone got some time to relax and getaway from everyday tasks =). Ela and I had nothing major planned for the weekend so we did some yard work and stuff around the house that needed to finally get done – mission accomplished =D. Although our projects took a huge chunk of our weekend we saved some time to relax and enjoy the perfect weather =). After a quick brainstorming session on “What to do and where to go”, we looked at each other and pretty much at the same time shouted, “CORN MAZE!” Yeah, we’re a little silly =D. We completely missed the corn maze last year so it was definitely a go without questions asked =). We quickly did some research on corn mazes in Connecticut and the one that caught our attention actually opened the very same weekend at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield =D. We thought, “Perfect! This way we can also pick some delish peaches and apples.” So that is exactly what we did =). We started out with picking our own fruits on the farm and then we went straight for the Corn Maze =D. Seriously, it never crossed my mind that we would have so much fun getting lost in the corn. We did have the map of the maze that were given out at the entrance but of course we wanted to go a little more extreme and totally disregarded it =D. Yeah, it took us a little while to find the exit but all the laughs were worth every second of being lost, with the map =). Anyway, if you haven’t tried the Corn Maze yet, put it on your to do list for this fall and you will not regret it =). Of course, forget the map and take it to the next level =D. Lyman Orchards Corn Maze is open through October 31, 2010 so don’t miss it.
What would a blog post be without any pictures?… Well, it would be a blog post without pictures =D. I should seriously get some rest =). Below are some photos Ela and I took during our Lost In The Corn Adventure. I must personally say that my wife is getting better and better at this photography thing =D. I could actually sense some competition going on during the trip… Hmmmmm =D. Love Ya Hun!

I love the color in these!
