26th Annual PDN Conference + Expo in New York =). It was a blast! Hmmmm… Maybe a little more honesty here. Well, lets put it this way. Although the entire conference and expo was pretty entertaining and overall nice, it seriously couldn’t compare to the previous one we attended last year. The only big vendors were Nikon, Canon and Sony. The rest were almost invisible. When we got there and walked around for a little it just felt weird. “Where is Hasselblad, Pocket Wizard, Alien Bee and all the other vendors we wanted to see…?” It was somewhat disappointing. The entire PDN kind of reminded us of a wedding expo gone bad. Maybe its just us, but other photographers that we spoke with during the expo had a similar feeling about the overall feel of this year’s PDN. Oh, well. Hopefully it’ll be better next year. Although the expo was a little iffy, the rest of the day was just great =). Wings and beer at ESPN Cafe after PDN definitely lightened us up, at least a little =D.
